This week on What's Up Wednesday, a couple of new products and an update on Balloon Fiesta calendars.
First up, an item that's actually been available for a couple of months now, and we're just getting around to featuring it here on What's Up Wednesday. It's a collection of Tea Towels. There are 4 designs to choose from. A single multi-colored balloon in a watercolor look or multiple balloons in flight. The other 2 feature text, like "Up, Up, and Away", and "Where We're Going, We Don't Need Roads." Made from high-quality, absorbent fabric, these tea towels are both functional and stylish.
A brand new item in the store is the Hot Air Capiz Shell box. It's a charming 3x3 hot air balloon box crafted from luminous capiz shell, designed to add a touch of whimsy and elegance to any space. The iridescent shell panels catch the light beautifully, creating a soft, pearly glow, while the hot air balloon design brings a playful yet refined feel. Both the tea towels and the shell box are limited in quantities as we continue to gauge interest in different products. If you like them, buy them quick, and we'll order more.
If you're looking for a last-minute Valentine's gift, both of these will fit the bill. They might not be delivered before Saturday, but you can always shop in person or select free in-store pickup to be on time for your sweetie.
We may only be 42 days into 2026, but work is already progressing on the official 2027 Balloon Fiesta Calendar. Our official photographers uploaded tens of thousands of pictures of the 2025 Balloon Fiesta, and we are going through them all to choose the best ones to feature in the 2027 calendar. Of course, we're also looking for those extra thumbnail photos that appear each month and writing all the information blurbs that also accompany each photo. While the 2027 calendar will be available in June, we still have a few 2026 calendars available for the low price of just $5.
