This week on What’s Up Wednesday, we have a lot to cover, including a limited-edition pin, a sneak peek at new items already in production, a look at our jewelry collection just in time for Valentine’s Day, and an important reminder about how to increase your chances of securing an RV space for the 2026 Balloon Fiesta.
Remember the pin we gave away with a $100 purchase in December? We have a small number left, and they are now available for purchase. These special pins were created for Albuquerque’s annual Twinkle Light Parade. When we first advertised the giveaway, Mr. Grinch was hiding part of the design. He has since retreated to Whoville, and we can now reveal the full pin: a green background, red-and-white snowflake-decorated balloons, and the words Twinkle Light Parade and Balloon Fiesta 2025. Because of the limited quantity and the unique story behind it, we believe this pin will be highly collectible. If you missed it during the giveaway, now is the time to add it to your collection.
Did you know we have a full jewelry collection in our store? It includes a wide variety of earrings, from sterling silver to acrylic, mostly balloon-shaped, with some featuring gemstones. We also carry several bracelet styles, along with pendants and necklaces in sterling silver and balloon-themed designs. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, now would be the perfect time to start dropping hints. Next week on What’s Up Wednesday, we’ll announce our Valentine’s Day sale, and as you might expect, jewelry will be at the center of it.
As we mentioned last week, several 2026 items are already in production, including keychains, magnets, ornaments, and picture frames. The charm-style keychains feature designs celebrating Balloon Fiesta 2026, Roadrunners, and Route 66. The magnets include this year’s bumper sticker and the 2026 design. The picture frames celebrate Balloon Fiesta number 54, the 250th anniversary of the United States, and the 100th anniversary of Route 66. These are just a few of the items currently in production, and we expect them to be available for purchase in May.
Speaking of 2026, RV space reservations open at 9:00 a.m. next Wednesday. With approximately 1,800 spaces available and very high demand, reservations typically sell out within an hour. To help you prepare, Balloon Fiesta Live! has produced a Special Edition that walks through the RV reservation process and explains everything you need to know ahead of reservation day. The episode also includes highlights from the first two days of the 2025 competition, along with a Pin of the Month reminder. The Special Edition of Balloon Fiesta Live! premieres tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time, and it’s a great resource if you’re planning to reserve an RV space.
