This week on What's Up Wednesday, it's all about the Official Poster!

The Official 2025 Balloon Fiesta Poster is now available! This year's poster was painted by San Felipe Pueblo artist Jason Valencia and depicts hot air balloons with Native American patterns in flight. There are balloons with a pottery design, a Navajo basket weave pattern, ceremonial drum patterns and even the Zia symbol courtesy of the Zia pueblo. The background on the original painting utilizes a unique water color blending technique Jason learned from his daughter. In keeping with the long-standing tradition,  Jason has hidden a roadrunner in his design. Although even he admits, while subtle, it's pretty large and not too hard to find. And the colorful geometric border caps off the entire design.

While Jason's signature is a part of the design, he has personally signed 300 of posters. Both the signed and unsigned posters are numbered and have been carefully rolled and placed in protective cardboard tubes for shipping and storage.

If the 20 x 30 poster just doesn't fit in your home or office, you might consider the smaller 8.5 x 11 inch metal print. The metal prints are 2 sheets of metal with a heavy duty coroplast core to make them more durable. They are also available signed and unsigned and come complete with the hardware hanger needed to easily hang on your wall.

Balloon Fiesta Live! Executive Producer and Host Art Lloyd Jr, got a chance to chat with Jason while he was signing the posters and metal prints. They chatted about how Jason got started creating art, what inspires him, what elements he put in the design and even how you can see more of his artwork. You can watch that conversation at https://youtu.be/SZ7dX-C2_1c or when viewing the poster or metal print on BalloonFiestaStuff.com.

And remember you can view the entire Balloon Fiesta poster collection online in our Collector's Corner. It's at BalloonFiesta.com under About Us.
