This week on What's Up Wednesday, Music Fiesta Lineup and tickets news, the first honorable mention products, a jogger set and duffle to carry it or other items around in and that Olympic balloon. It's an item packed time at Balloon Fiesta Stuff, so let's get started.
Just announced - the line up for the 2024 Music Fiesta! Carly Pearce, LOCASH, and Kyle Martin & Co. will entertain on the second Saturday of Balloon Fiesta this year. If you're not familiar with these artists, you can read more about them at balloonfiesta.com/Music-Fiesta. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 9 am MDT. With 7 different ticket options there's a level for everyone. That same link is the link to purchase tickets. Some ticket levels are limited, so be one of the first in line tomorrow morning at 9 am Mountain Time.
You may remember we had a lot of artwork submitted as part of our call for submissions for the official poster. We also featured a number of honorable mentions here on What's Up Wednesday, issues 109-112. Today, we're happy to announce that the first products featuring these honorable mention submissions is available. It's in the form of a print of their artwork on acrylic. Similar to what we do with the official poster design, it's your chance to collect the series of honorable mentions.
Another new product this week is actually two products. Internally we're referring to it as a jogger set, however the hoodie and pants are available as separate items. The hoodie is black with a full front of colorful balloons, while the pants have the colorful balloons down the right leg with Balloon Fiesta 2024 on the left leg. Get the set for lounging around, exercise or running errands.
Of course, if you are on the go, you need a duffle bag to carry your change of clothes, shoes, and everything else. Available in 3 bold colors, Navy, Royal Blue and Purple, these spacious bags also feature the undated Balloon Fiesta Logo. You'll want to grab one or more for yourself, and it's not too early to start thinking about Christmas presents. With Balloon Fiesta only 65 days away, Christmas is close behind at 146 days.
And finally, we just wanted to acknowledge the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony and the cauldron lighting. We all know it's really a gas balloon, despite what the media reported. And we just got word that Albuquerque native and NBC national reporter Gadi Schwartz will have a report on the balloon at some point during NBC's coverage tomorrow. Since Gadi knows the difference between hot air and gas balloons, it will be interesting to watch and see if the connection to Balloon Fiesta comes up.
Next week, we have a slew of new t-shirts for you and a preview of the 2025 calendar which is scheduled to be released the following week. In the meantime, thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
