What's Up Wednesday, June 18, 2025 #178

Ken Tuley ·

This week on What's Up Wednesday, a new t-shirt, 2025 patches and an oopsie or redo on last week's puzzle announcement.

We have a number of new t-shirts in the works for this year, and over the next few weeks we'll be releasing them here on What's Up Wednesday. Today's tee is a short sleeve that we call the Blanket Tee. Soft, custom dyed and pre-washed these blue-grey beauties and sure to be popular. The simple Balloon Fiesta logo on the front left chest is accompanied by a full color, full back design that looks like a woven blanket. Bold colors, balloons, and a zia in the sun-lit mountain bring this pattern to life. It's really soft and comfortable.

Now that the majority of pins have been released, we have 2 more in the wings, it's time to turn our attention to the official patches. There are 6 designs ready for you to collect and get attached to your favorite jacket or vest. Five of the patches are about 4 inches square and feature the most popular sessions of Balloon Fiesta. Mass Ascension, Balloon Glow, Special Shapes, Chase Crew and the Event patch are designed very similar to their respective pin design. The patch collection is topped off by a full color 9 inch patch. Collect the set to really accessorize like a Balloon Fiesta Fan.

Last week we released a brand new puzzle and then gave you a button to purchase an  older puzzle. In our defense, we have a couple of 1000 piece puzzles that caused our oopsie. Turns out it was kinda of a good mistake to make, as we have more information about the new puzzle this week. Our expert puzzle maker, who is working on an assembling the puzzle for viewing in our Gift Shop, reports this puzzle is tricky. Pieces are fitting together, and look ok, but if you turn them over, you'll see that the printing on the back doesn't match. You see this puzzle has a pattern of letters on the back. Kinda of like a legend or answer key. While it's not always convenient to turn the puzzle over to "check your work", it could come in handy when you aren't sure if you are connecting the the correct piece. Buy the puzzle and let us know if you like this code on the back.

Finally as we mentioned last week, new items are arriving almost daily. So many that we won't be able to feature them here on What's Up Wednesday. In the last week or so, we have released a scuba pull over, a 1/4 zip, an all over hoodie with matching pants and a collection of stainless steel ornaments, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. You can use the search feature, or the new arrivals collection to see everything that's new. We recommend checking it weekly.

Thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
