What's Up Wednesday, September 18, 2024 #138

Ken Tuley ·

This week on What's Up Wednesday, our last round of new items and a preview of the shopping hours and opportunties ahead.

Before we get to the new stuff, we'd like to apologize if you tried to order the Honorable Mention Artist Greeting Cards last week. We had a little mix up in our internal communciations. Those cards were only intended to be available in person, either in our gift shop or on the field during the event. But we messed up putting them in What's Up Wednesday. Sorry about that. If you'd like to purchase them, please visit us in person.

The Official Program is here and available. Of course there are pictures of all the balloons, remote control balloons and a full complement of articles. Read about the different types of lifting gases used in ballooning, the truth or fiction behind those historical stories pilots tell after a flight, and a look behind the scenes at our drone shows and even the calendars. Order yours now to be ahead of the game when you arrive at Balloon Fiesta.

The best dressed folks at Balloon Fiesta always seem to be wearing a ball cap. And we have a slew of them for you. Here's a quick look at what's in the store. There's a blue one, the event cap, the pink bling, the cream puff embroidered, the distressed one, the red/black trucker, and the foil ball cap. Some of these are dated, some are available year-round. Check out the cap category for the complete line. And don't forget the beanies and gloves while you're there.

As we approach the 2 weeks to go mark, here's a heads up for your in-person shopping. Starting September 30th, we'll be open longer hours in our physical gift shop and we're adding Saturday hours. And again this year, we'll be opening a merchandise tent on the field on Thursday, October 3rd for you early bird shoppers.

Full details and hours next week on What's Up Wednesday.

Thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
