This week on What's Up Wednesday, the new arrivals just keep on coming, with three new shirts to tell you about.
We just released a new Balloon Fiesta Jersey, and it's cool in more ways than one. While the Scenic Route theme balloons and artwork are printed on high-performance fabric, the roadrunner and the words Balloon Fiesta on both the front and back are beautifully embroidered. The combination creates an unexpected touch of elegance that really makes this jersey stand out. You'll definitely turn heads wearing this one at Balloon Fiesta.
You can never have too many T-shirts, and our new Route 66 Tee is sure to become one of your favorites. A small Balloon Fiesta® logo appears on the front left chest, while the specially designed Route 66 shield and Scenic Route banner fill the back with brilliant color. There will be no doubt where you've been when you wear this maroon, short-sleeve tee.
Our third new shirt is just for the little ones. This youth tee continues the fun with more Special Shapes and UFOs. Tiny the Firedog, Boo, Milky Way, and the new Eva Monster join the friendly aliens, creating another colorful design kids are sure to love.

The countdown continues toward single digits, and that means special shopping hours are here. The first change begins this Saturday, when our Gift Shop at 4401 Alameda Blvd., on the corner of Alameda and Balloon Museum Drive, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It's the perfect time to shop in person or pick up those online orders you selected for FREE In-Store Pickup. Browse our selection of pins, patches, hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, keychains, magnets, ornaments, drinkware, and much more. You might even discover a few items that haven't made it to the online store yet. Shopping early and picking up your orders before Balloon Fiesta begins can save you valuable time during the event.
And that's just the beginning. Starting Monday, September 28, the Gift Shop will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Saturday, October 10. On the final Sunday, October 11, our hours will be 9 a.m. to noon, before returning to our regular 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule on Monday, October 12.
Remember, our online store is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We process orders every day the Gift Shop is open. Since most shipments go through the U.S. Postal Service, weekend orders won't actually leave our office until Monday. And while we've added extra staff for Balloon Fiesta season, there are still days when we're flooded with orders, so processing and shipping may occasionally take an extra day or two. Thanks for shopping early!
Finally, just a reminder that the October Pin of the Month will be released next Wednesday, with on-field shopping beginning the very next day. That means Balloon Fiesta is almost here!
