A crowd and pilot favorite is the morning Dawn Patrol. Taking off about an hour before sunrise each morning, these pilots light up the sky, while giving the pilots yet to launch an indication of what the wind speed and direction for the morning might be. The 2025 Dawn Patrol pin features those colorful balloons, with their required marker lights hanging down, joining a beaufiful Albuquerque sunrise.
