This year’s Balloon Fiesta Poster design was selected from more than 70 entries and features a fantasy Balloon Glow where balloons are flying and lighting up the sky along with the stars. This year’s artist is Jake Gushard. Jake has spent most of his young life in Albuquerque, graduating from La Cueva High School and just this spring from Purdue University with a degree in CyberSecurity. Jake says he got his start creating art as a young kid just messing around in school by drawing things. He has created a number of logos and other designs for himself and is excited to have been chosen as this year’s poster artist. For his dad, it was extra special, as it was his dad who encouraged him to submit a design, and Jake was notified on his dad’s birthday of his selection.

The serigraph poster is available in hand-signed and non-signed versions. All posters are numbered, rolled, and packed in tubes. There are also smaller acrylic prints available signed. Unsigned metal prints will be available as well. Jake continued the tradition of placing a hidden roadrunner in the poster.
