What's Up Wednesday, April 30, 2025 #171

Ken Tuley ·

This week on What's Up Wednesday, two more 2025 pins are available, and we'll help you with your Mother's Day shopping as we wrap up April and head into the month of May.

As promised we have two more 2025 pins available this week. The first is the Special Shapes pin. Amelia Bearhart, Steggi and the Snowman are featured on this year's pin, flying across the sky. The signature artist palette emphasizes this year's theme of Painted Horizons.

The Chase Crew pin features crew members working away to get balloons launched while other balloons fly overhead. These pins are always coveted by crew members and those who become crew by virtue of taking a balloon ride.

A few years ago we switched to silicon pin backs. We find they stay on better and don't scratch or catch on your skin or clothing. If you like them, we have bags of these backs that we removed from pins mounted on pin boards and they are available for you to update your pin collection. Grab a couple of bags when you order your pins.

It's hard to believe that April is over, May is here and that means Mother's Day is just 11 days away. That means it's time to do some shopping for Mom. We might suggest perusing our jewelry line. We have more than a dozen options to choose from including earrings, pendants and bracelets. We're sure there is something in that collection that Mom will love!

Of course, every Mom needs a place to keep all that wonderful jewelry. We have a nice wooden puzzle box that would work great to keep those special balloon jewelry pieces. In the shape of a balloon, this puzzle box is about 4 inches in size with a depth of 2 inches. It looks great everywhere and provide not only a place to keep your jewelry under a"puzzle lock and key".

Next week on What's Up Wednesday, a few new items that sold out quickly will be back in stock. As always, Thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
