What's Up Wednesday, July 15, 2026 #234

Ken Tuley ·

This week on What's Up Wednesday, our annual Christmas in July sale is here! This is when we make our final reductions on previous-year merchandise as we make room for exciting new items arriving daily. This year, the Balloon Museum Foundation is celebrating alongside us with its own Christmas in July sale.

To commemorate the occasion, we’ve created two special pins that connect to form a single design. One features Balloon Fiesta, The Scenic Route, a Route 66 sign, and the Fiesta Balloon. The other celebrates the Balloon Museum, featuring its logo on a balloon. They look great together—but to collect both pins, you’ll need to visit both gift shops in person. Since we’re less than half a mile apart, it’s easy to visit both shops during the sale. We apologize in advance to everyone outside the Albuquerque area!

There are great savings throughout the Balloon Fiesta Gift Shop: 2025 jackets are now $25, vests are $10, most 2025 T-shirts are $5, hoodies are $10, and select ball caps are just $5. Cups, glasses, and other Balloon Fiesta merchandise are reduced to $3–$5. It’s also final-markdown time for 2025 programs and 2026 calendars, now only $2 each. The 2027 calendars are being printed now and will be available in the next few weeks, while the 2026 program is in production and will be available in September.
Even our Signature Style collection is included. Select name-brand items featuring the Signature Style Balloon Fiesta logo are 25% off through the end of the month, including Tommy Bahama, The North Face, Nike, Clubhouse, Nautica, and Travis Mathew.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without ornaments, and today we’re making the 2026 collection available. Our ever-popular snowflake, scroll, and charm designs have all been updated for 2026. This year’s stainless-steel ornament features the outline of the state of New Mexico. We also still have some of last year’s round stainless steel ornaments available. They aren’t dated, and they look really cool.

We also have a hand-painted ornament featuring The Scenic Route design, presented in a red velvet display box, as well as our custom boxed ornament showcasing the 2026 Balloon Fiesta Scenic Route theme design in 3D. Other undated ornaments are back in stock, and another group of ornaments is on its way. Keep checking our ornament collection—Christmas is just 162 days away!

And for the first time ever, pins are on sale! All 2025 pins are now just $5 each—a great opportunity to add to or begin a collection, pick up extras for pin trading, or create a pin board as a gift.

Finally, when your Christmas in July order totals $100 or more before shipping, we’ll automatically include a 2025 medallion at no extra cost.

These items are available online and in person, but we’d love to see you in person. Place your order online, choose in-store pickup. While you're here picking up your order, grab that special Balloon Fiesta pin, then head up the street to the Museum Shoppe to complete the set. You may even find something extra special that’s available only in person.

That’s a lot to digest, so here’s the quick summary: Christmas in July means deep savings throughout Balloon Fiesta Stuff, new 2026 ornaments, and 2025 pins for just $5 each. Visit both Balloon Fiesta Stuff and the Balloon Museum Shoppe to collect the special two-piece pin set. And remember: when you spend $100 or more before shipping at Balloon Fiesta Stuff—online or in person—you’ll receive a free 2025 medallion.

As always, thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
