This week on What's Up Wednesday, the first items in the 2024 pins and patch collection are now available and it's Teacher and Nurse Appreciation week.

Just 3 days shy of 5 months until the 52nd Balloon Fiesta launches, we're pleased to present the first of our collectable pins and patches. It's the ever popular event pin and corresponding patch.

Featuring the 2024 event logo, this year's event pin features rich jewel tone colors that bring a level of luxury, warmth and elegance to the entire design. The balloons themselves are glittering away in the emerging sunlight. At the bottom of the pin is the Embrace the Sky text, along with Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and 2024. Please note, it's difficult to capture the beauty of the glitter effect in the pin as the glitter "moves" depending on the angle you are viewing the pin.

The event patch is the more traditional 4 inch round shape and contains a very similar design with the balloons, not glittering but silhouetted in the sky. You'll want the set!

Due to the sheer number of pin designs and pin quantities produced by Balloon Fiesta each year, and the time needed to actually manufacture these pins, we have to work months ahead of the event to be able to offer these items to you. When they arrive, we split the inventory into multiple locations. Those include our physical gift shop, our online store and all the locations pins are sold on the field. This assures we have stock available at every location. And while we can and do shift inventory from location to location based on demand during the event, it does mean that certain locations can sell out. We're limited in our ability to purchase more inventory due to the turnaround time needed to manufacture additional items. What we're saying here is, if you're a collector or just interested in making sure you have any of this year's pins and patches, order them as soon as possible to ensure you obtain the ones you want for your collection. It also gives us an opportunity to reorder if we see demand is high for a certain item or items. Thanks!
