What's Up Wednesday, Wednesday, March 18, 2026 #217

Ken Tuley ·

This week on What's Up Wednesday, the day after St. Patrick's Day, a lot of information on stuff in general, and some new products for you to check out.

Did you notice we are now less than 200 days from the start of the 2026 ExxonMobil Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta? And that means ticket sales begin in just days. We have lots of different options for attending Balloon Fiesta, from Camping options to VIP experiences to General Admission options. To help you make sense of it all and to help you choose the options that are best for you and your family, the Balloon Fiesta Live! Team has put together a Special Edition of Balloon Fiesta Live! That is all about tickets. The show goes live today at 10 AM MDT. Even if you miss the premiere, it's available to watch on demand from BalloonFiestaLive.com. Be sure to check it out before tickets go on sale on April 3rd.

The spring Cleaning Sale we announced last week is living up to the March Madness hype, and the good news is that the sale prices are still available. We even have a special category available to let you easily peruse everything that is on sale! Remember, all the 2025 clothing is now discounted, as well as most of the other 2025 merchandise. We need to start making room for the 2026 items, so it's time to empty those shelves and give the brackets a slight break before the new stuff arrives.

This Friday is the Spring Equinox, bringing longer days and brighter mornings. Celebrate the return of sunshine with a suncatcher that fills your home with rainbows. In addition to the windchimes we told you about last week, we have a rainbow wind chime with beautiful-sounding copper tubes. In fact, we have added an entire rainbow collection to include a garden hook, a nightlight, and an actual suncatcher. Since the balloons are all the same, you can collect the entire matching set.

For those of you who just hate getting your wine glass mixed up with someone else's, we have a set of 8 wine charms. Slip them around your glass to elegantly identify yours from mine.

Finally, in our ongoing efforts to support local artists, we have added a glass balloon ornament. Created by Clayton White and his wife, as part of a new artistic endeavor, these items are available in three different styles: solid, mosaic, and spotted. They work as an ornament, or anywhere you want a small balloon hanging. Because these are local, we can quickly restock if we sell out.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our pin trading and sale last Saturday. Mark your calendar for the next one, it's April 4th. Until next week, thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
