This week on What's Up Wednesday, just in time for the unofficial start of summer, we're releasing a new lawn flag, drinkware for your outdoor adventures, and a couple of new official pins.
Let's start with the lawn flag. Inspired by the 2026 theme, The Scenic Route, this design brings together the vibrant colors of the theme with balloons and Route 66 to add some Balloon Fiesta spirit to your yard. Woven and complete with stake and mounting hardware for easy display, it's a fun and colorful way to show your Balloon Fiesta pride. It's so attractive and official-looking, don't be surprised if people start asking where they can get tickets.
Since you'll probably be spending more time outdoors admiring your lawn flag, you'll want to bring along your beverage of choice in one of the new Silipint cups. The new 2026 designs are available in both the classic pint style and the Shumbler — think tall shot glass with a handle. As many of you already know, Silipint drinkware is oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe, and it's made from 100% food-grade silicone, meaning it's BPA-free as well.
And the official pins just keep on coming. This week, we're adding two more favorites: Dawn Patrol and Flight of the Nations. Both feature a pin-on-pin design. The Dawn Patrol pin showcases balloons flying through a dark, star-filled sky, while the Flight of the Nations pin features three flag-design balloons with additional international flags displayed in the background. Of course, Dawn Patrol takes place each morning during Balloon Fiesta, while Flight of the Nations traditionally happens prior to Wednesday morning's Mass Ascension.
