This week on What’s Up Wednesday: a brand-new product, the return of a fan favorite, and the restocking of another popular item.
The 2026 merchandise is starting to arrive, and we’re excited to finally begin sharing it with you. This week, we’re releasing a brand-new blackout ball cap. It’s been on the wish list of one of our merchandise staff members for years, and now it’s finally a reality. As the name implies, it’s all black — featuring the Balloon Fiesta logo on the front, an American flag on the side, and 2026 on the back. All in black. Check out Larry modeling his long-awaited “wish cap.”
A few years ago, we carried a line of pop-up chairs, and this year, they’re back. These lightweight chairs collapse down to just 10 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches high. Fully extended, the 2-pound chair supports up to 250 pounds and stands approximately 17 inches tall. Available in blue/black or rainbow color schemes, they’re perfect for long lines, events, or anytime you need to take a quick break and sit down. Pick up a set and keep them in your car so they’re always handy.
Also back in stock is the ever-popular 550-piece custom puzzle. Featuring an iconic image of balloons playing in the Rio Grande during Balloon Fiesta, this is one of those puzzles you’ll enjoy assembling again and again. Although we’ve heard reports that many people put it together once… then frame it and hang it on the wall. Whichever way you enjoy it, now’s the time to pick one up.
By the way, we also carry a full line of puzzles designed for all ages and skill levels. And coming soon: a couple of new puzzles — one designed for the younger crowd, and both inspired by the May the 4th reference from last week.
And one final note: our friends Art and Ted are getting ready to record another special episode of Balloon Fiesta Live! This episode will take a closer look at a lot of the upcoming 2026 merchandise. More details are coming soon, but the tentative release date is early June.
As always, thank you for supporting Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
